Best competition ahead at NAIA Women’s Basketball Championship

This week Sioux City has played host to the annual NAIA Division II women’s basketball championship, and as always, the competition is fierce.
The 23rd Championship started March 12 and concludes with the championship round on March 18 at the Tyson Events Center.
The championship features the 32 top-ranked women’s basketball teams from across the country, competing in a single-elimination tournament.
Some of the best competition comes in the next 4 days as the quarterfinals begin on Saturday at 1 p.m. Northwest Iowa teams still in the hunt for the quarterfinals include Northwestern and Morningside College.
Tournament passes and single-game tickets are available at the Tyson Events Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-745-3000.
The semifinal round is March 17 and the Finals are March 18.
