Week Ahead: Artsplash, Chris Young and a night of EDM

Thursday night, Billy Gardell will be preforming at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City. You’ll most likely recognize Gardell from his starring role in the series, MIKE & MOLLY as Officer Mike Biggs. His grounded, down-to-earth point of view during his stand-up shows strikes a strong chord with audiences. Stories about his rough childhood, wild adolescence and new family life are executed with the skill of a master craftsman. With two show times, you won’t want to miss this hilarious night of comedy. Shows are at 7 and 9:30 p.m.
Head to Riverside Park on Saturday and Sunday for ArtSplash. View pieces by artists from all over the country, lots of live music by local and regional musicians, and there are tons of activities for the kids to participate in. $5 for a 2-day adult wristband and kids 11 and under free. Event is Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m.. to 5 p.m.
Saturday night, country star Chris Young takes over Battery Park at the Hard Rock. Known for his classic baritone and melt-your-heart ballads, Young knows how to have a good time and put on a great show that you won’t want to miss. Show starts at 8 p.m. and is open to all ages.
PINshows is back Sunday night for another rowdy Outdoor Patio EDM Experience at 21st Amendment Bar and Kitchen. Must be at least 21 and everything kicks off at 9.
