Pet of the Week – Boomer

Not too long ago Boomer was adopted from Noah’s Hope, but he had to be returned. It was not his fault. The resident dog in his new home would not accept Boomer as a new member of the family. Boomer is a 4-month old Pitbull puppy. He first came to Noah’s Hope as an under socialized puppy and everything was a new experience for him. He acted like he had never even seen grass. He rolled around in it and rubbed his belly on it for the first 10 minutes.boomer

He has come a long way since then. In his foster home he has been a very good boy. He’s learning to walk on a leash and now loves to go on walks and get out of the house. For such a young puppy he really is not too wild. He seems to have an old soul. He is calm and thoughtful about everything and only gets hyper when he is outside playing with kids. He is smart and eager to learn and please. Boomer is house trained already. He gets along get with kids and the other dogs he has been around.

He really is a great little puppy and whoever adopts him will be lucky to have him. If you live in an area where the breed is allowed, call about Boomer!

Boomer is up-to-date on shots and is micro chipped. He will need more vaccinations and will need to be neutered as a condition of his adoption when he is 6 months old. His adoption fee is $135.

Noah’s Hope Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. We rescue the underdogs: the old, the sick and injured, the used-up by breeders, the forsaken and misunderstood. We nurse them, bring them back from the brink, and give them another chance. We believe they make the very best pets because somehow, they understand and are grateful.
