Week Ahead: Biz Brew, Musketeers and Fall Fest

Biz Brew & Pub Trivia
Startup Sioux City Pub Trivia is Thursday night at Doxx Warehouse Bar and everyone invited to take part in the festivities. Biz Brew will kick off the night at 5PM followed by Pub Trivia at 6PM. There will be prizes, beverages and nachos. Put together your team of 4 and register today!

Jeremiah Johnson Band
Jeremiah Johnson is the new face of Mississippi River blues. Walk into a music joint in St. Louis and you’ll likely hear the familiar “blues” sound that made the area famous. Head over to the Hard Rock on Thursday night to experience this can’t miss performance. Show starts at 8.

Sioux City Musketeers
Your Sioux City Musketeers are back on home ice this Friday and Saturday night. Reserve your tickets today to see the Musketeers face off against the Bloomington Thunder. Puck drops at 7 both nights so grab the family and head to the Tyson Event Center for a fun filled evening.

Fall Fest
Fall Fest is a day of fun designed for residents and visitors to enjoy the fall season, spend time with friends and family, and showcase Sioux City attractions. With more than a dozen venues, including Baconfest (those are bacon covered cupcakes above) around Sioux City hosting events celebrating fall this Saturday there is something for everyone to enjoy. Some events include Pumpkin Days at the Sioux City Farmers Market, a fall hike at Dorothy Pecaut Nature Center and Pumpkin Painting and Preztels at the Bishop Heelan Fine Arts Building.

John Primer & the Real Deal Blue Band
Saturday night, head down to Vangarde Arts to see John Primer & the Real Deal Blue Band take the stage. Primer is the only Bluesman to play with Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters and Magic Slim and is featured on the new Muddy Waters Tribute CD titled Muddy Waters 100 with well known blues artists like James Cotton, Derek Trucks, Gary Clark Jr. and Shemekia Copeland! Don’t miss out on your chance to see him live! Show starts at 8 and tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
