03 Things to do in Sioux City this week: arts, Jaws, and beerworking
It’s one of the worst feelings – finding out about a really awesome event after it happens. We know what that’s like, and it’s our goal to make sure that you never miss out again.
Every week, we’ll bring you three things to do in Sioux City – they might be big events, or they might be smaller events that we find interesting – for you to add to your calendar. You can take your pick, or try them all. But, whatever you do, make sure you leave us a comment and let us know how it went!
1. ArtSplah – August 31st, 10 a.m. thru 6 p.m. and September 1st, 10 a.m. thru 5 p.m. @ Riverside Park
If you have never been to ArtSplash, this is the year to go. It is the 20th Anniversary, and it will be bigger and better than ever!
The area at Riverside Park will be flat and shaded with parking and lots of space to spread out and grow.
ArtSplash is free for children 11 years old or under. For individuals over 12, the cost is $5 for a 2-day wristband. You can also visit one of your local HyVees (including the South Sioux City HyVee and HyVee Drugtown on 27th and Pierce St) to purchase advanced admission wristbands for $4 each.

2. Biz Brew – August 29th @ Indigo Palette, 5 p.m.
You love local business, seeing new startups and helping give back to the community. Oh, and you like to network over a beer and chow.
Then join us for Biz Brew. Best part? It’s free. Also, we’ll have some big announcements about upcoming events, projects and more happening in Sioux City. For real.
Anyone who has an interest in promoting innovative ideas, entrepreneurship and creativity in Siouxland is welcome to meet others who share the same passion.
Still not sure it’s for you? Maybe you are just curious and want to meet other creative people in Sioux
