0Pet of the Week – Phoebe – ADOPTED
Phoebe is a terrier mix, about 2 years old, and a little peanut of a dog. She weighs about 9 pounds. She has been in the Noah’s Hope foster system longer than any other dog, and we really want to find a forever home for her. She deserves it.
Phoebe needs a calm home with patient people who will understand her shyness and let her lavish love upon them. Most people don’t “get” this little girl. She has been accused of not liking men, but she likes them just fine after she gets to know them. She just takes her time in doing so. Her foster mom says she is “the best cuddler, an absolute lover.”
Phoebe gets along very well with other dogs, and loves to play with dogs her size. We think she would do best in a home with another small dog to help her get used to new surroundings. She chases cats, and therefore we don’t recommend placing her in a home with cats. She wouldn’t hurt them, but life would be miserable for the felines with Phoebe around. Because of her size, Phoebe should not be in a home with small children. They could hurt her.
Phoebe is spayed, vaccinated, and micro chipped. Her adoption fee is $135. You can apply to adopt the little love at our website, or call Deanna at 712-253-8394.

Noah’s Hope Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. We rescue the underdogs: the old, the sick and injured, the used-up by breeders, the forsaken and misunderstood. We nurse them, bring them back from the brink, and give them another chance. We believe they make the very best pets because somehow, they understand and are grateful.
