Sleeping Beauty ballet takes stage this weekend
For more than four decades, the Siouxland Civic Dance Association has presented a holiday show in Sioux City.
This year, the Sleeping Beauty ballet will take the stage.
This elaborate show includes intricate lighting, staging and costuming, and features roughly 40 dancers on stage, including local and guest dancers.
Gretchen Gondek talked recently with Tracy Bennett with Ballet Sioux about the event.
The ballet is Saturday at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at Klinger‑Neal Theatre at Morningside College.
Admission $10 for all shows.
