Downtown Partners Seek Artists for ArtWalk 2013
Downtown Partners will present ArtWalk 2013 on May 24. The walk showcases the spaces and places where art happens in Downtown Sioux City. ArtWalk provides the opportunity for the community to meet artists and see what type of work is being produced in Sioux City.
On Friday, May 24 from 4 – 9 p.m. Siouxland artists will be exhibiting in downtown and highlighting existing studio spaces. Siouxland artists will be exhibiting their work and their skills in three main locations:
Commerce Building (520 Nebraska St.)
Indigo Palette (1012 Historic 4th St.) Vangarde Arts (427 Pierce St.)
If you are an artist, you won’t want to miss out on this chance to exhibit your work in downtown. Go to www.downtownsiouxcity.com or call 712.252.0014 for a registration form. There is a fee of $10 to be listed and promoted through this event. Deadline for registration is April 26.
The event will conclude with a live music at both the Indigo Palette and Vangarde Arts locations.
