0Noah’s Hope: Parsley Finds a Home
Once upon a time there was a pup named Parsley.
Because she had good house manners and she was potty trained it was obvious that she was once an indoor family dog. For reasons that are unknown to us she spent the next part of her life tied up outside with a short chain. Often this chain was tangled and did not allow her to reach her dog house in sub zero temperatures. The biting flies in the summer left scars that are a testimony to what she endured.
The previous owners allowed Noah’s Hope to take Parsley and find her a new home. Once in a foster home, Parsley seemed like a stereotypical “tough kid” from the ghettos that just wanted to be loved.
One day when Parsley was at an adoption event at Petsmart a family came looking for a very special dog. The family had small children and an autistic boy that needed a stable friend. Something in Parsley’s background made her a perfect fit for this family. They are so happy to have her and she and the children are best buds! They sit together in the front window and watch cars go by!
Parsley’s story is a perfect example of what dog rescue is for. There is a family out there for every dog, they just need to be given a chance to find them.

Noah’s Hope Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. We rescue the underdogs: the old, the sick and injured, the used-up by breeders, the forsaken and misunderstood. We nurse them, bring them back from the brink, and give them another chance. We believe they make the very best pets because somehow, they understand and are grateful.
