Pet of the Week – Baxton

scn_potw_baxton Sioux City Now brings you this week’s installment of  Noah’s Hope pet of the week, Baxton.

Baxton (Bax) is a male American bulldog/lab mix, about a year old and 70 pounds. This poor guy was a neglect case. He was abandoned in an apartment, and according to neighbors, was never let out of the apartment when his owners were there. It may be why Bax does not like to be kenneled, and why he follows his foster mom everywhere to make sure she doesn’t leave him.

Bax loves other dogs; cats, not so much. Most of all he loves people. He is a mellow, calm dog who loves to cuddle. If you are looking for a shadow dog that just wants to be where you are and sit on your feet, Baxton is your guy. Bax is neutered, fully vetted, and ready to come home with you.

If you want to open your home to Baxton, please call Deanna, of Noah’s Hope, at 712-253-8394. Or visit our Facebook page or website for more information:

Sioux City Now and Noah’s Hope partner up to bring you a new pet every week. Make sure to check back every Tuesday afternoon to find your perfect match and help provide these awesome pets with their forever home.

Noah’s Hope Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. We rescue the underdogs: the old, the sick and injured, the used-up by breeders, the forsaken and misunderstood. We nurse them, bring them back from the brink, and give them another chance. We believe they make the very best pets because somehow, they understand and are grateful.
