Week Ahead: A boot-stomping, hall-decking, a cappella week

It’s a star-filled, boot-stomping, deck-the-halls sort of week as we count down to Christmas.

Deck the Halls Pub Crawl
Join Startup Sioux City on Wednesday night for some holiday fun with the Deck the Halls Pub Crawl. Hear about what’s been happening in the local entrepreneurial community and enjoy some drinks with friends. Everything kicks off at 5 pm at 21st Amendment, hitting Diving Elk, SoHo and Buffalo Alice throughout the night.

Unofficial Star Wars VII The Force Awakens Premier Party
Join in the celebration for the most anticipated film in 30 years! The party starts Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Chesterfield. There will be a drawing for 2 sets of tickets for the midnight showing, a Gift Certificate given for the best Star Wars costume and serving Bantha Milk… the blue milk from the original movie! May the Force be with you!

Q102’s Belated Birthday Bash: Echosmith and Andy Grammer
Pop smash artists Echosmith and Andy Grammar will perform Thursday night at the Tyson Events Center, celebrating Q102.3-FM’s Belated Birthday Bash! Sioux City favorite, 35th & Taylor will be opening the show. Tickets are still available and with the $25 advance price, you can’t ask for a better deal for such a great show. Show starts at 7:30. See you there!

Tonic Sol-Fa
Back by popular demand on Sunday night is Tonic Sol-fa for their 2015 Christmas season tour! Check them out at the Orpheum Theatre, show starts at 7:30. Tonic Sol-fa has established itself not only as the most in-demand vocal group in the Midwest, but also one of the most successful independent acts in America.
